The Disney Private Blockchain team assists business segment users and developers research and develop software mechanisms to protect privacy in distributed ledger participation. DTSS Engineering Services (Keystone and DPBC) applications and services. We provide the support, consulting, and solutions to meet the tactical needs of our customer’s business.

This is an intern position for a CE or Electrical Engineer who wants to work on applications with a focus on security used by our business segment customers. The intern will assist architects, developers and QA in Audit and Compliance is related to Access Control. Access control basically amounts to tracking who has access to what objects. Accesses can be granted and revoked.

The summer internship project is about designing and implementing an access control using open ledger and blockchain framework. Disney Corporate, ABC, ESPN, Disney Interactive, and Walt Disney Productions.

Responsibilities

This position is for Disney Private Blockchain within the DTSS (Disney Technology Solutions and Services business unit). In this position you will research and develop software mechanisms to protect privacy in distributed ledger participation. The intern will also be responsible for working independently and completing his or her assignment before the conclusion of the internship.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in web application development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Strong drive to deliver the right results
  • Comfortable asking questions
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHP
  • Basic understanding of Databases and SQL
  • Experience in UE/UX design

Required Education

  • BS Computer Science, achieved or in progress.
