Full-Time Regional Software Architect – Avaya – New York, NY
Oversees expert technical and/or analytical support to clients in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems of highly complex business communication systems. Self-directed, making major contributions to teams, and contributes significantly to client satisfaction. Resolves a diverse range of complex problems. Makes major contributions to teams and assumes technical project ownership role for complex engagements. Represents the company at industry forums and identifies and develops business opportunities. Work is performed with no supervisory direction and does not require review by senior management. Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems.
Travel may be required as needed to customer sites; interpersonal skills required to establish trusted relationships with key customers.
Previous experiences as a hands on Software Architect / Engineer
Previous experience with Contact Centers and/or Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) solutions
Knowledge of Technology / Software trends (e.g Cloud, DevOps, Big Data / Advanced Analytics, Java, Web Applications / APIs)
Proven experience within the Finance Vertical (e.g banks) and latest Technology trends (e.g Fintech, Digital Transformation, Bitcoins)
7 – 10 Years of Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
Advance Degree preferred
